Third icon post since I've been "back" and I finally feel like I'm returning to my old ways. I was kind of lost for a minute there with all the riduculous texture use and whatnot. I couldn't remember what it was I used to do!!! But finally I went and followed some of my OWN tutorials (lame!) and I think I'm figuring it out.

Just a small post. I'm behind in ALL of my fandoms besides Skins. It's hard for me to find the will to icon anything else! It's kind of sad. Hopefully I'll get some new inspiration. Otherwise my posts are going to become increasingly random. Maybe some suggestions of fandoms I should icon would be nice. Hmmm...

Hey hey hey! What's crackin' folks? It's a been a while!

So, I doubt that anyone cares anymore, but I am officially

OFF HIATUS

It's been years and years. I went on hiatus in 2006! Wow. I didn't think it'd be this long before I could get back to making icons, but alas I've finally purchased a new laptop and have have internet connection and am making icons like a crazy person! I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it.

The icons in this first batch aren't the best icons in the world. I'm trying to get reaquainted with the "art." I also havent been around for a while so I'm not as familiar with the new "trends" or whatever else people seem to enjoy in icons these days.

Some of them are EXTREMELY old. They aren't so good. They're actually ones that I did before I had this laptop, but never got the chance to post because...well I was on hiatus. Hahaha. The newest ones that I did most recently are the Skins Series 3 batch. Hopefully I'll be getting better as I continue to re-explore.

Anywho, just wanted to say hello again. Hi! Hahaha. This is gonna be fun. ;)

As you can see, this definitely is not one of my better posts. A ton of these are old. I had to scrummage them up and make some shitty Office icons last minute for this post. I wanted to post some icons before I stopped making them for a while. Sorry to say, I'm going on a

HIATUS

For a little while. I'm going to no longer have my computer. I'll have other computer's to go on, but none of them have Paintshop/Photoshop and I can't install the programs onto them because the computers do not belong to me. We'll be getting a new computer for the whole house soon, but there are so many people in my home, I'm really not sure how often I will be on it. Which means not many icons can come out of me.

However, you never know. I could be back sooner than I think.

I'm doing a shitload of tutorials for the sake of doing them. Plus, some of them were requested. I'm doing these and a few stock icon tutorials a little later. Also, I am going to fix some of my old tutorials seeing as some of them are kinda wrong.

All of these were made in Photoshop CS2. Sorry to say I really don't think any of them can be translated into PSP. Soooooooo sorry. I know how much of a pain that is. I just recently got PS myself, so I know what it's like to be stuck with a program where you can't do half of the tutorials you see. So Sorry. :(

Also, because I am new to PS, my way of navigating the program might be weird and/or a little naive. Please excues my stupidity. Lol. I hope they are understandable.

I hope they weren't confusing or incorrect. I know that the curves may be a little cooky. You have to kind of play around and try to make something that looks similar.

If you have any questions or concerns, please give them to me. I'll try to reply and/or help as best as I can. I do the best I can, but sometimes I just don't know what's going wrong. But I promise I will try.
